Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering was established by Dr. Patangrao Kadam in 1983. BVUCOEP is constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). Which has been Accredited to A+ grade in its third Cycle by ‘NAAC’ in 2017 (BVDU accredited to Grade ‘A’ in 2004 and 2011). The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accredited programmes of BVUCOEP in 2018, 2012 and 2005. AICTE Internshala ranks BVUCOEP at 46 at the National level and 8 in the West zone. The programs B.Tech and M.Tech are accredited by NBA, New Delhi.

Admissions are entrance based and followed by a merit list which is a compilation of eligible candidates. The entrance is conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth University, which is essential for admission.

B.Tech admissions are offered on the basis of 10+2 scores. The students must also qualify for All India CET (Engineering) to be eligible for admissions. Admissions are also offered for B.Tech II (Direct).

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

  • Scanned photograph and signature 
  • Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
  • Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
  • Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
  • Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
  • Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.

    Eligibility

    Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field from an AICTE approved institution or AMIE with valid GATE score. With an aggregate of 50% (45% marks in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability) in the previous qualifying exam.

    Admission Process

    Applications are available online on the official website for admissions. To be eligible for admissions students must appear for All India Common Entrance Test ET (M.Tech). The details of the entrance are given below:

    • All India Common Entrance Test ET (M.Tech) is a computer based, online entrance examination consisting of 100 questions. 
    • The entrance exam is in English with an objective type set of questions with four choices.
    • 1 mark is allotted to each question and the entrance is for 3 hours.
    • There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Also questions without responses are also not negatively marked.

    In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in All India Common Entrance Test ET (M.Tech), the inter state students will be offered admission based on:

    • First preference for GATE qualified candidates OR
    • Equal marks in +2 that are scored by the candidates 

    How to Apply for GATE?

    The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

    Documents Required

    • Scanned photograph and signature 
    • Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
    • Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
    • Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
    • Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
    • Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
    • Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
    • Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.
