Overview:
B. Sc. Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme focused on developing critical thinking skills, proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery. The programme is streamlined to enable students to address the health needs of the nation, society and individuals. The programme involves classroom study, Simulation learning in the Nursing Labs, Field trips, Projects, Assignments and Clinical learning that enable students to integrate theory and practice. The students are also required to undergo a six-month internship during the final year of their course which facilitates a smooth transition to being a Professional Nurse.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is a two-year undergraduate programme designed to inculcate an in-depth understanding of advanced level nursing. Under this programme, students acquire both surgical and non-surgical nursing skills that prepare them for varied real-world clinical and hospital settings. The programme prepares students to take independent decisions in nursing situations and play a major role in treating patients with care and compassion.
