The college came into existence in the year 2008. The college is a pride institution of Government of Bihar underr Health Department of the Government of Bihar. This institutions has been permited by the medical council of India,, New Delhi to undertake admission of 100 Students to the MBBS Course in the year 2013. Subsequently the medical council of India after proper Inspection and assesment again approved admission of 2014 and 2015 batch of students for 100 MBBS Seats. Goverament Medical College Bettiah is duly afflitied to Aryabhath Knowledge University, Patna which is an unique technical university crafted by Govt. of Bihar. GMC Bettiah MBBS Admissions 2023 will begin soon. For MBBS admission, students are required to appear for the NEET-UG entrance exam. NTA has announced NEET 2023 exam date in the recently published exam calendar. NEET exam date 2023 is May 7, 2023. Admission 2021

Candidates will have to apply for the NEET-UG examination conducted by MCC to take admission in UG courses.

  • Candidates applying for undergraduate courses will have to take the form online from the official website of NTA
  • To apply for UG courses, candidates must have atleast passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible
  • Candidates should have obtained MBBS degree from any college recognized by the Medical Council of India for MD/MS course
  • Admission is done strictly on the basis of Merit in the entrance test.

UG Admission 2021: MBBS

Government Medical College, Bettiah offers MBBS at undergraduate level. MBBS is offered for 4.5 years of duration with one-year compulsory rotating internship.

  • All the MBBS seats, including NRI/Management Quota seats, are allotted only by merit under the state quota through counselling conducted by Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna
  • Candidates should have the eligibility certificate from AKU, Patna to pursue medical education programmes in the state of Bihar
