Dr M V Jayaraman was an educationist par excellence, a gifted musician, a generous patron of arts, a philanthropist who gave without a second thought, a scholar, and above all, a noble human being. He established the Venkatesha Education Society, in 1970. And with that one act, he sowed the seeds of an educational revolution in Karnataka. Today, there are eight reputed institutions under the auspices of the Venkatesha Education Society, offering quality education in a wide range of disciplines. MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital (MVJMC&RH) was established in 2001 under the umbrella of Venkatesha Education Society (VES) with the vision of founder Dr M V Jayaraman to provide affordable healthcare to the rural population in and around Hoskote. It caters to 454 villages comprising of talukas Hoskote, Malur and Chintamani. It has all the broad specialities in Medicine and Surgery and also some superspecialities in these two branches. I----

It is an NABH entry level certified and ISO accredited institution giving quality care to the rural population at zero cost.MVJMC&RH has established the "MVJ Neurosciences Centre" to afford Neurosurgical care in hospital premises..
Dr M V Jayaraman is also the inspiration behind the MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital. His vision is what has shaped the college. His legacy is what we carry forward each day. MVJ medical college is a well established educational institute for imparting quality medical education. The college was established in 2001 under the umbrella of Venkatesha Education Society. It is located in Hoskote, a rural district of Bangalore and is well connected to the city. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India and is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences for conducting the medical undergraduate and postgraduate programmes leading to the award of MBBS degree and postgraduate degrees MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital (MVJMC & RH) shall grow to be the premier medical institute of the country providing holistic medical education par excellence, to ensure students evolve as caring and courteous medical professionals, with excellent clinical skills and theoretical knowledge. We will endeavor tirelessly to fulfill the vision of our beloved founder, Dr. M.V.Jayaraman who believed in the adage “It’s not what you take, but what you leave behind, that defines greatness”.
