SAM College of Nursing
is run by Shri. Hargovind Society which provides quality education since 40 years from schooling to U.G and P.G courses. SAM College of Nursing was established in the year 2013 with the aim of preparing competent nurses for the health care industry to meet the growing challenges in the health scenario that the world faces today.

G.N.M.

  • The duration of G.N.M Nursing is 3 years with annual intake of 40 students per batch. The mode of examination is yearly.

P.B.B.Sc Nursing

  • The duration of P.B.B.Sc Nursing is 2 years with annual intake of 20 students per batch. The mode of examination is yearly.

B.Sc Nursing

  • The duration of B.Sc Nursing is 4 years with annual intake of 50 students per batch. The mode of Examination is yearly.

M.Sc Nursing

  • The duration of M.Sc Nursing is 2 years with annual intake of 15 students per batch, 5 seats of Medical Surgical Nursing, 5 seats of Child Health Nursing & 5 seats of Mental Health Nursing. The mode of examination is yearly.

Admission:-

COUNSELING & ADMISSION PROCESS

AYURVEDIC SCIENCE

  • Department of AYUSH, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. The guidelines would be shared by the Department at the time of Counseling and it would be strictly followed. After the counseling procedure of the Department of AYUSH, the General guide lines, Hostel rules, Campus Discipline etc. will be given in the Student's Manual issued to each student at the time of reporting at College.

Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

  • Students are admitted to BE / BPharmacy courses on the basis first of their performance in Pre-engineering & Pharmacy Test (PE & PT) through the distributive on line counseling. Then they may be filled on the merit basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology through subsequent counseling conducted by RGPV, Bhopal.

Lateral Entry Admission

  • Diploma/B.Sc. degree holders are eligible for admission to BE/Pharmacy III semester (2nd year of the 4 year course) on the basis of their merit marks in the Diploma/B.Sc. examination. 10% of total seats in each branch are available for Diploma/B.Sc. degree holders. These seats are filled through counseling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bhopal (MP).

MBA/M.Tech.

  • Students are admitted in these courses on the basis of their performance in MET/GATE/GPAT through counseling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bhopal (MP). If any seat remains vacant after counseling then they are filled on the merit basis of graduation examination through subsequent counseling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, M.P.

College Level Counseling

  • College Level Counseling for all courses is based on Admissions available against vacant/dropout/cancelled seats – Counseling will be held in the campus in presence of DTE representatives and college management. Interested students can apply directly in the institution.

Internal Counseling (For Branch Change)

  • After PEPT counseling is over, an internal counseling is conducted in the institute for up-gradation/change of branch. The internal counseling is conducted in the presence of RGPV representative for those candidates who have already been admitted. No fresh admission is made during internal counseling. As the course content of RGPV is divided in to two-groups- A and B for different branches, the candidate may continue to

Engineering

  • Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with individual passes in physics, chemistry, mathematic both theory and practical with minimum of 45% marks.
  • Admission to the student is given in BE 1st Semester by the Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya Bhopal through counseling based on their merit in PET conducted by Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM) Madhya Pradesh or AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam) or College level counseling on 10+2 basis. Admission is open for all Indian Nationals & for NRI Student with 50% in 10+2 level.
  • Students can take admission directly in IInd Year if they hold a Diploma in Engineering (recognized by Directorate of Education) or an Undergraduate Degree in Science with Maths.

Management

  • Admission to MBA is through MET organized by Professional Examination Board of MP. After allotment of seats to MET qualified candidates, if any seats are vacant, they are filled on the basis of marks obtained in Graduation.
  • The Admission to students is given by the Directorate of Technical Education Govt. of M.P. Bhopal through online counseling based on their merit in Management Entrance Test (MET), organized by Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM, M.P.) on vacant seats. MET counseling is on the basis of marks obtained in graduation. Minimum marks for eligibility is 50% for General Category and 40% marks for OBC, SC, ST category students (Only for M.P. Domicile).
