I welcome you to the Viswabharathi college of nursing and Viswabharathi school of nursing, which are part of Viswabharathi group of educational institutions, Kurnool. Viswabharthi nursing college is recognised as one of the top nursing colleges in Kurnool, affiliated to Dr NTR university of health sciences and approved by Indian Nursing Council and Andhra Pradesh nursing council.

COURSES OFFERED
B.Sc (N):
The Viswabharathi college of nursing ,Kurnool has commenced from the academic year 2004-05. This college is permitted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh( G.O.M.S No. 29 H.M &F.W. (K2 Dept) dt:27-01-2004), approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, AP Nursing council and affiliated to Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences. So far 12 batches of B.Sc (N) students have successfully completed the course.
M.Sc(N):
M.Sc(N) programme is established in 2013. This college is permitted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh( G.O.M.S No.282), approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, AP Nursing council and affiliated to Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences. So far 5 batches of M.Sc nursing students have successfully completed the course.
GNM:
The Viswabharathi school of nursing Kurnool is established in 1998. The school is permitted by Govt of Andhra Pradesh(G.O.MS.NO.586,dt:04/12/1998) by Health medical and family welfare department, approved by Indian Nursing Council( File no.18-588/2000 INC Res. No.112/02/May/2006,26/05/2006) Approved by APNMC/GNT/3896/2000.Dated 02/02/2000. So far 17 batches of GNM students have successfully completed the course.
Admission Criteria for B.Sc., (Nursing)
1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission.
2. The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of Higher Secondary School certificate Examination (12 years course),
Or
Senior School certificate Examination (10+2), pre-degree Examination (10+2)
Or
An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).
3. First preference for EAMCET rank holders. Remaining seats on marks merit.
4. Candidate shall be Medically Fit.
Admission Criteria for G.N.M
1. Minimum & maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively.
2. Education: 10+2 passed or its equivalent preferably with science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) subjects with aggregate of 45% marks.
3. Nursing vocational 10+2 are eligible.
4. A.N.M passed with 1 ½ year training.
5. Student shall be medically fit.
Admission Criteria for M.Sc.,(N)
1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife of equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
2. The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
3. The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
4. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
5. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
