What is KIITEE?

KIITEE is the Entrance Examination for KIIT Deemed to be University. KIITEE stands for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination. It is a common entrance test for admission to courses (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental) offered by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Via KIITEE admission is made in 35 courses offered at KIIT. The syllabus and exam pattern f KIITEE vary for each course. The syllabus and exam pattern of KIITEE is prescribed by the University itself and is provided on the official website.

Based on the marks of the candidates in KIITEE, separate merit lists are drawn for all courses. Admission is offered based on counselling and seat allocation conducted by KIIT. As per the availability of seats in different courses, the cut-off rank for counselling will be notified. Candidates, having rank above the cut-off rank, shall be called for counselling.

KIITEE 2023 Application Form

KIITEE 2023 application form has been released at the official website of KIIT. There is no application fee in KIITEE 2023. The application process of KIITEE 2023 comprises registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of fee. To appear for the exam, applicants must fill the KIITEE application form before the last date. To fill out the online application form, candidates have to follow the below steps:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Select the ‘Online Application’/‘Download’ option. (If you want to download, take the printout of the downloaded Application Form’).
  • Go through the Instructions to fill-up the form.
  • Fill up the ‘Online Application Form’ and submit.
  • Upload photograph,Signature & 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet.

Candidates should retain photocopies of the ‘printed application form’ which may serve as a reference for future correspondence.

KIITEE 2023 Admission Process

KIITEE 2023 admission process includes the following:

  • Applying for KIITEE: Candidates can apply for more than one course for admission.

  • Book slots and download the admit card: Registered candidates have to book their KIITEE 2023 slots online under their respective logins and download the admit card.

  • Appear for KIITEE: Candidates have to appear for the online remote proctored test.

  • Check result: KIITEE 2023 result is announced online, candidates can login to the official website and download their scorecard.

  • Attend counselling: As per the counselling schedule, candidates have to attend the counselling.

KIITEE 2023 Admit Card

KIITEE 2023 admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of the exam. For the same, candidates need to visit the official website of KIITEE to download the admit card. Candidates who have booked their slots can download KIITEE 2023 admit card in online mode only. KIITEE admit card is an essential document to be kept safely for exam day. The admit card will not be available in any offline modes. Without the admit card candidates will not be able to appear for the online test.

KIITEE 2023 Result 

On the basis of marks secured by the candidate in the Entrance Examination, separate Merit lists are prepared for all the courses. The candidates can see their KIITEE results by giving their application numbers. Rank Card indicating the Rank in Entrance Examination shall be sent to the qualified candidates. Candidates can also download the rank card from the website.

In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks, inter-se merit of such candidates shall be determined as follows:

  • BTech: On the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics, then in Physics and then by age (preference to older candidates).
  • BArch: On the basis of marks obtained in NATA
  • BTech LE: On the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics than in Basic Electrical Engineering and then by age. (Preference to older candidates).
  • BSc Nursing: On the basis of marks obtained in Biology, then in Chemistry and then by age (Preference to older candidates).
  • BBA/BCA/Bachelor in Design (Fashion / Textile) / Bachelor in Film & Television Production / BA.LLB / BBA LLB / B.Sc.LLB / Master of Mass Communication(Integrated): On the basis of Marks obtained in Mathematical Ability, then in Analytical Ability, then in English and then by age. (Preference to older candidates)
  • Biotechnology-Dual Degree (BTech / MTech) (5 Years): On the basis of marks obtained in Biology, then in Chemistry and then by age (preference to older candidates)
  • B.Sc in Computer Science / BBA (Computer Applications) / B.A Economics(Hons) / B.A English(Hons) / B.A Sociology(Hons) / B.Com: Preference to Older Candidates
  • MCA: On the basis of the marks obtained in Computer Awareness, then Mathematics and then by age ( Preference to older candidates)

KIITEE 2023 Counselling

Counselling and seat allocation will be purely on a merit basis i.e. based on the performance in the Entrance Examination. The counselling schedule is published on the KIIT Website after the declaration of the result. Candidates have to attend the counselling as per the schedule. The counselling process is stopped as soon as all the seats reserved for the KIITEE-2023 are filled up.

Verification of documents would be done at the time of counselling/admission. So as to verify records on identification, age, qualifying examination and category of candidates. On failing to establish correctness in any of the documents, the candidates will not be considered for admission.

Candidates called for counselling must bring Original Documents (listed below) and token fees to the counselling Centre.

  4. 12th Mark sheet and Pass Certificate
  5. The graduation Mark sheet and Pass Certificate only for MCA, MCA(LE), M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Applied Microbiology)
  6. Diploma Pass Certificate and three years Mark Sheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates)
  7. BTech/B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For MTech./LLM/Ph.D Candidates)
  8. Relevant Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate.
  9. GATE Score Card (for MTech. GATE Qualified only)
  10. Demand Draft of INR 75,000/- which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable) in favour of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. The balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.
