Welcome To Bollineni College of Nursing:-
Bollineni College of Nursing founded in 2002 by Bollineni Krishnaiah Charitable Trust with the moto of Discipline service and devotion. Bollineni College of Nursing has permitted by Government of Andhra pradesh and approved by Andhra Pradesh Nursing Midwives Council, & Indian Nursing Council file no. 18 – 917/2002 and affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
Bollineni College of Nursing is located with 8.25 acre with total built up area of 1,22,972 square feet academic and hostel block in Dhanalakshmipuram, Nellore.
Bollineni Krishnaiah Charitable Trust runs various institutions in Nursing and Paramedical Education.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 Female Candidates are eligible

  • 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre
  • Registered ANM with pass mark.

ELIGIBILITY: Female Candidates are eligible

  • The candidates should be of Indian Nationals or persons of Indian origin (P.I.O) / Overseas citizen of India (OCI) card holders or Foreign Nationals .The P.I.O’s, OCI Card holders and Foreign Nationals shall submit No Objection Certificates from Nursing Council of India for admission into Post Basic B.Sc., Nursing course.

Education Qualifications:

  • Candiates seeking admission into Post Basic B.Sc., (Nursing) Course should have passed Intermediate Examination. or Any other equivalent examination (10+2 pattern) recognized by the University in A.P. or Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh or NIOS or APOSS – Indian Nursing Council Regulations.And Should have passed General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognized by the Govt. of A.P. or Nursing Council of India and shall be registered with the Staate Nursing Council.
B.Sc. (Nursing)

Eligibility (As per the G.O.Rt.No.1095 HM & FW Dept., dated 02.092013)

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought
  • Minimum Education:
    • a. 10+2 Passed @ 45% aggregate of marks in science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English is compulsory subject.
    • b. 10+2 passed out from recognized board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/SSCE/ HSCE/ NIOS / APOSS or other equivalent Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
    • c. Intermediate vocational with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences.
    • d. Those who belongs to SC, ST and BC are eligible with 40% in the science group subjects and English is compulsary subject as per orders of the secretary Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi vide letter No.F.No.1-2/2014-INC and vide the circular No.
    • F.NO.1-6/2016-INC. Dated.21-09-2016.
  • Students shall be medically fit.
  • Students shall be admitted once in a year (As per the G.O.Rt.No.1095, Health Medical and Family Welfare (K1) Depart,. dated.02.09.2013)
M.Sc. (Nursing)

  • Duration: TWO YEARS (Non Semester)

Branches of study
The following shall be the Branches of study for M.Sc. (N) Degree Branch I - Medical Surgical Nursing Branch II - Child health (Paediatric) Nursing Branch III – Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing Branch IV - Community Health Nursing Branch V – Mental Health (Psychiatric) Nursing

Eligibility for admission

  • The Candidates ( Female ) should have Passed the qualification of B.Sc. Nursing degree from the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences or any other University accepted as equivalent there to should have registered with Andhra Pradesh Nurses and Midwives council..
  • B.Sc. Nursing graduates should have one year experience in a teaching hospital or in a college or school of Nursing or in community health nursing field after graduation and after RNRM Registration in the nursing council. The candidate ( Female )with P.B. B.Sc. nurses need not have one year of experience after graduation for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing if they have one year experience after GNM course. They can be admitted to M.Sc. Nursing soon after the graduation in any branch of study;

Attendance

  • The Candidate ( Female ) should have 90% of Attendance in theory and 100% of attendance in the practical’s separately and should have completed all the requirements prescribed for each program of study including clinical practice before admission to examination.
  • A candidate ( Female ) lacking in the prescribed attendance and progress in any one subject in theory or practical in the first appearance shall not be permitted for appearing the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences Examination in that subject.

Condonation of Lack of Attendance

  • There shall be no condonation of lack of attendance for the post graduate program.

Curriculum

  • The Curriculum and the syllabi for the programmed shall be as prescribed by the university from time to time.

Scheme of examination

  • Theory and Practical Examinations shall be conducted as part I and part II at the end of first year and II year respectively in the subjects as per syllabus. If the candidate ( Female ) fails, she will be allowed to appear in supplementary examinations (october or in April) either in failed subjects or along with other subjects in subsequent examination.
  • During the program of study the candidate ( Female ) is required to write a dissertation in her specialty. The candidate ( Female ) shall submit a dissertation in the field of specialty, two months before the final university examination.

Resubmission of thesis

  • Resubmission of thesis with corrections can be submitted within 6 months from the date of return from the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences . Resubmission of thesis with total redoing can be done within 2 years Vacation The Head of Institutions shall declare 6 (six) weeks’ vacation in an academic year to the students. The period of vacation will be decided by the head of the institution.
