Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery

BHMS is an undergraduate degree in homeopathic medicine that trains students in homeopathic philosophy, materia medica, repertory, clinical medicine and surgery from a homeopathic perspective, enabling practice as homeopathic physicians.

Candidates must complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, achieve minimum marks as prescribed for NEET eligibility, and qualify NEET UG to be considered for BHMS counselling and admission

Admission to BHMS is conducted via NEET UG scores, followed by AYUSH counselling at national or state level where candidates choose homeopathic medical colleges and receive seats according to their rank and category.

NEET UG is the standard entrance exam for BHMS seats in most homeopathic medical colleges across India, with seat distribution managed through AYUSH or state counselling authorities.

NEET‑oriented PCB preparation is essential, supplemented by strong basics in human physiology and pathology, which later help in understanding homeopathic clinical applications during the BHMS course.
